Dr Jane Akhtar

Dr. Jane is an experienced dentist with an MSc in Endodontics, having worked in general practice for thirty years since graduating from Cardiff University in 1994. She specializes in root canal treatments, earning a distinction in her Master’s degree in Endodontology from the University of Chester. Dr. Jane actively participates in postgraduate study clubs and recently attended the European Society of Endodontology Congress in Helsinki and Budapest.

In addition to her focus on endodontics, she has completed advanced training in aesthetics and function at The Pankey Institute in Florida, where she developed skills to treat joint and muscle pain, tooth wear, and restore smiles. As an Invisalign certified provider, she enjoys offering clear aligner orthodontics, combining them with teeth whitening, composite bonding, crowns, and veneers to achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Jane finds fulfillment in saving teeth and enhancing her patients’ confidence.
